lets try this again...

i am so excited to be starting this whole blog thing again. the creative juices were not flowing on that boy blog. i kept asking adam if he would let me change things...take off the visitors from the hospital, change colors, take off the ENTIRE life story of Orantes Grant on the main page, etc. but, b/c my husband is a sweet sentimental man, he finds it hard to desire change. there were thoughts in my head i wanted to share that just did not seem appropriate on the other blog. freedom is the new feeling i feel in opening my mind to just writing and sharing with friends. even if it is one or two people, i love staying in touch with others. i love you all.

AJ is three months old and i am loving life more everyday. the begining of mother-hood was amazing but challenging. whoever reads these has heard my story and does not need that recap. on new things, i started work last week. part-time, but time enough. my mom is my hero. she made last week "OK". she came over to my house an hour before i had to go to work, cooked breakfasts, ironed my clothes, got Aj up, made lunchs, did laundry, did the dishes, cleaned my house, boiled bottles, assisted with dinners....and then taking care of my sweet baby. with AJ, mom did everything on schedule, great nap times, started sign language(as much as you can), left me messages throughout the day... i know other people will do a great job at keeping Aj, but there is no one like my amazing mom.

thank you nina for everything you have done for me and my family of three. we could not have survived the last three months without you. and i could not have gone back to work so smothly and emotionally in control without you.

speaking of work... i have so many stories to tell. maybe tomorrow i will go through a few interesting stories. you will have to tell me if they get to be too much for you. my social work brain thinks on a different level than the rest of my brain.

cheers. here is to new blogging, Aj three months old, nina, and social work.

love it Erin. you've inspired me to try to change the look of our blog to something not a "template"!
