catch up

so sorry for the delay. i know you all were on pins and needles waiting to see how aj did with solid foods. he did great with the sweet peas (adam picked the sweet peas instead of squash b/c he thought they would be more bland). aj made no face and had no special reaction to the new food in his mouth, but was overly excited. i knew i should have started him earlier with his robust body growing. this is a picture of how messy i made him with food.

i did it! i made aj some baby food the last two nights. it is so fun and so easy. i will admit that it is not as easy as grabbing a jar, but well worth it. i did some math and the money i save is huge! and aj will get organic at a great price. yippe. i will have to let you know how long this lasts, especially with aj hating the sound of the food processor. he goes into this terrible cry and can not calm himself down when i start the machine. but here are some sweet potatoes. hmmm.

oh, and aj started drinking the other night while watching some sports with daddy.
