so sorry i have been blogless over here for the past two weeks. i have been working extra and playing extra hard. Christmas time is so fun to me b/c of all the traditions you have surrounding the holiday. annual parties (ornament exchange parties are my fav), decorating, cards, food, and all the little traditions you make up as a family.
so, i have left my camera out of several things, but brought it on a few things. first, i never gave you a pic or two of aj's party and cake.
and the next day, we moved aj's car seat around. why is it so much fun for a mommy to turn the car seat around. i just giggled the first few rides at how fun it was to see him. aj loves it too. he thinks he is riding a rolling coaster.
at one of the parties, there was a face painter named twinklz. she is there every year. so, this year, everyone talked aj into getting his face painted. twinklz picked a pirate and mommy pirate for me ( i had no idea what she was painting on me or aj, but she was a jewel.).
we also started our santa claus tradition. i just love how families display each year's santa pics out at Christmas. (adam's mom has tons all displayed from her childhood, her kid's childhood, and now her grandkids. i love looking at them all.) last year, i felt like aj was too young to be on all those germs with santa. but, this was the year. you can see what my pic looks like, so just imagine what the "official" pic looks like. and i love it so much.
we also started the pink pig tradition. i did it as a child each year, and want aj to enjoy it too. he loved it so much that he smiled the whole ride.
i will end on a few pics from our house. i have loved looking at how everyone decorates, so i thought i would share a few. this year, the theme seemed to be ornaments in my house (i already have a theme for next year.). i hung them from every chandelier and picture frame. lights were added to top it all off. the only trees we have are a few trees on our armoire, far far away from little bit.
