something new for the year

i love when other people write about books they are reading, b/c then i know what to expect in reading a new book and get great recommendations. so, i am going to start trying to tell you about my books. then maybe you will tell me about your books. (i know who my reader friends are out there)

there are so many good ones that i have read recently, but i am going to just have to start with this year. after the Psalm 91, i read Baby Proof really fast. it was a fun quick read about a couple who decided to not have children until things changed. i have to say thank you to mary for telling me about Emily Griffin. she is so fun. and i love that she is a local author. i saw this book for 3 dollars after Christmas and snagged it. (mary, i have ordered her other three books off amazon)

last week, i read Jesus: An Interview Across Time. dad had given it to me to read before Christmas. i had started it, but had a hard time finishing it until now. my mind had to really wrap around Jesus being here talking with us and answering all questions about his life on earth. i ended up really loving it and it has changed my thinking once again. how quickly i wonder away from Jesus being so real and in the midst of our every step on this earth as he experienced it all as well. read this one, when you want to be challenged.thanks to 14 hours in the car this weekend, i am almost finished with another book.
