i have to tell you all that i am so proud of my sweet hubby... he is going to the final four in baseball and he installed a remote controlled fan all by himself.
adam won his two games last night; putting them in the final four round of state ( first time in providence baseball history). so excited for my hubby and that he gets to wear those tight pants a few more games!!! we play
monday.

i mention the fan b/c i have a funny little tidbit to go along. adam worked for 4 hours on sunday night installing this thing (not what i wanted him to do on his last night home before he left for the tournament), and it would not turn on. adam was frustrated, but did a good job of still enjoying the night. so, on monday, his electrician grandfather came over with adam's dad and climbed the ladder to try to figure it out. oh, they figured it out alright. the plastic wrap was still on the battery in the remote. hmmm. (i chuckled for a while and debated telling him)
good for you babe!

SO proud of the fan. That is a big deal!
We are going to Columbus on Monday - wanna go with us???? We can hook up AJ in our car?! Thought it would be a fun road trip. :)
Your room looks SO neat ...wanna come organize my master bedroom?
Love the Ralph Lauren snake story ... somehow my best things always get used for 'clean up'.
love you!
If our hall closet was as organized as our bedroom....I would have used another pillow case....but none could be found. The 4 hours spent installing the fan were mostly due to the shabby installation of the last fan. I had to invent a way to mound the new fan in the ceiling after trying countless times to use the old mounting....which was crap. On the battery thing....it was some kind of weird small battery and the instructions did not say to remove the unique blue cover. Should have been common sense I guess...but all who know me know that I often lack in that department. I'm just glad I did all the wiring correctly.
nice!! i can relate. i actually installed a fan once too--but only to have nathan come home and point out that i have forgotten a couple major pieces. yes, he had to redo! for some reason, i HATE reading instructions. i would much rather just wing it. this hasn't proved to be a good method of doing things, but i chalk it up to my impatience!
way to go adam and Prov Stars!! keep us posted!
congratulations to adam!
dan was so excited for him...he definately deserves this success
---& congrats on the ball team too...wink!!
Erin - I had to check on the Stars - Have they played any games yet? I hope they do great!
