sweet baby boy has had some good last few days. this weekend was just a great breath of fresh air. adam won his game on friday night putting him into the Elite 8 for their region in the entire state. adam plays tuesday and wednesday this week. big prayers for him and his team as aj and i do not get to make it to down south for the games.
saturday night we had a family date night. so fun!! i said "three" when asked how many and i felt so proud saying those words.

aj got his big boy car seat put into the car this weekend. i actually have had it since aj was a few weeks old, but was just waiting for the timing to put it in the car. well, this week, i told adam that i can no longer lift my chunky boy into the car in that carrier. i had it!! aj looks like such a big boy riding in his new "plush king size car seat".
i also took the plunge and tried the nursery at church. i took a tour last week and love the set up at our nursery, so i knew i had to try it. i asked adam to hold aj, so he could be the one to make the hand off to the worker. i wanted to cry at that moment and all through church, but i did not. my husband was being so sweet and i loved worshipping with him for the first time in a long time. nursery was a success (it was only aj and one other boy with four ladies).
today, aj and i kissed adam good bye over a lunch together and a feeding of the king snake in

adam's room. i called him while on my walk last night to tell him there was a snake in the road. of course, my husband jumped in the car to catch the snake with one of my ralph lauren pillow cases. he is such a man. but today, i think aj loved watching the snake b/c he is black and shiny.
it has simply been a refreshing last few days as a family. hope you

have had some great ones too!

Erin - my boys are almost 4 and 2 and sometimes I STILL want to cry when I drop them off at church. Especially when my little man is trying so hard not to cry but just lays his head down on daddy's shoulder as we are dropping him off at the door. It always is such an amazing feeling when church is over and I've gotten to worship with my husband and my kids were great! Keep it up! It does get easier...Tell Adam we miss seeing him in the parking lot at N'point and Congrats on the Final Four! Wow!!!
