today is my dad's birthday, and i am so happy he is getting older. if he was not getting older ..then...no that can never happen. dad says he will live to be 120 years old. you can ask him his reasons and he will show you Genesis 6:3.
i would not be who i am today with out my dad. thank the Lord for my dad and mom raising me. they are my heros. dad is the greatest role model i could ever have in pointing me toward a relationship with Jesus as my Lord and Savior. i would not have the depth of relationship i do have with the Lord, i would not be the woman i am today, be married to the husband i am (that is one great story), have the great relationships with my fmaily as i do... i just have the best dad.
thank you so much for choosing to marry the wife you did, dad, and for having me as your child. i thank the lord so much for you and everything you mean to me. i love you dad and i pray you feel very special on your day!
(these two pics are from the day i delivered aj. dad stood at the door and prayed the entire time. sweet cayce and her kids stood there as well. and then dad walked out of the room with a big smile after seeing aj for the first time. )

How sweet is that? I am eating your dad up right now!!! I lost my dad at age 12 and just crave that adult father/daughter relationship. It really is so special - but it sounds like you know that!
