So things are winding down here for the night. We got moved into our room, they took Sazy to the nursery for a while, and all our family is gone. We are so blessed to have the family that we have, and to have so many friends that care about us and have been praying for us. Thank you so much. Our last nurse was Alicia and she was great during and after the delivery. We now have another Alicia for the night and she seems just as sweet. Hopefully Sazy will feed better than AJ did at this point and they will send us home before too long....but as long as we have someone reading the correct charts this time....I think I can handle staying as long as they need to keep an eye on things. Dr. Daus is great....and left us tonight with the quote of the night...."That delivery was no gutter-ball"....which is a bit of an inside joke with my sister Cayce. We have had a ton of family visit so far as well as Tays.....and I will try to list them all. Pop, Ghee, Will and Cat, Cayce and Brian (with Georgia, Reagin, and Bennett), Meme and Pawpaw, Tom and Nan, Aunt Teresa.....Nina and Rock, Leigh and Becca (who both were champs during the delivery....they helped), Gary and Della, Amanda and Lauren.....and of course, big brother AJ! Needless to say we tried to set a record. The head nurse finally came in and told everyone they had to leave. It was hard for Erin to let AJ go, but he went with my parents for the night and will be fine. He was not quite sure what to think when he first walked in and saw all the people (he and Pop did not get there till about 8) but quickly warmed up and would not hardly stop looking at Sazy. Once he did.....he never wanted to let Erin out of his sight but could not sit still and was climbing all over her. She was a champ again and loved on him like crazy while handling the crowd and the phone calls from other friends and relatives. Dranny called before and after and we wish she could have been here to see Princess Jr....but hopefully that will happen soon enough. Here are some pics of the night.....certainly more to come. AC

Congrats- looks like one big happy family. Your wife looks great- you wouldn't even know she just had a baby. Get some sleep and enjoy your "new life."
